Stress is a force which acts on the body, setting up strains within it according to its load carrying capacity, flexibility, and tolerance. Stress is anything which may cause a change within the normal balance or equilibrium of the body mentally and physically e.g. anger, hunger, fear, anxiety, pain, noise, injury etc.

Stress and stress related illnesses are among the most prevalent health problems of our modern world today. At the same time stress is an essential ingredient in our lives - it is motivating and challenging. It is necessary however, to recognize how much stress you, as an individual, can tolerate without being affected physically and mentally. It is equally as necessary to know what action to take to reduce or eliminate stress or tension, however temporary. This may include a cleansing diet, exercise, sleep, relaxation, massage, listening to music, watching television, meditation, creative activities etc.

Relaxation is the antidote to stress. When you are properly relaxed, a number of changes take place in your body. Physically your heart rate will decrease and mentally you will be calm. The body's natural equilibrium or balance is restored.

The aromatherapy oils are particularly successful in eliminating stress and inducing relaxation as they are sedative, warming, relaxing, soothing antidepressant and calming - without any side affects!

Instructions: Apply on any area of the body (face, arms, legs or torso). Most effective if applied after a bath or shower.
