Exfoliation Cream (Hands & Body)

These are excellent for the hands, face, feet and body. As the skin is an elimination organ, exfoliating removes the dead surface layer of the skin allowing healthy cells to excrete toxins. If used twice weekly it may lessen surface irregularities and promote a more even skin texture. Exfoliating leaves the skin radiant, feeling soft and smooth.

Many different substances are used as exfoliating agents, ranging from ground apricot kernels, jojoba beads and loofah fiber, to silicone beads. Different textures are used for different parts of the body. The face requires a much finer grain, while the body is compatible with a coarser one. A slightly coarser grain is used on the feet but never too rough as this can cause microscopic lacerations of the skin as well as damaging surface capillaries. It is recommended that exfoliation is not performed more than twice weekly.

Exfoliation is achieved by applying gentle circular movements on the required areas, but avoiding the eye area. Although any area of the body can be exfoliated, face, neck elbows hands and knees, in particular, benefit from this treatment. Do not rub too hard or prolong the action. Once completed, rinse off thoroughly with warm water and towel dry before applying an aromatherapy oil or cream (e.g. Body Lotion, Hand or Cracked Heels cream).

Ingredients: Water; Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil; Aloe Barbarensis Leaf Juice; Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil; Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil; Cetearyl Alcohol, and Ethoxylated Sorbitan Ester (Coconut derived); Stearic Acid (100% Palm derived); Essential Oils: Cymbopogon Citratus (Lemongrass) Oil; Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Oil; Apricot Kernels Granules.

Allergic Reaction: Should you experience an allergic reaction for any reason, gently wash the affected area with soap and water.
