Camphor Essential Oil (Cinnamomum camphora)

Camphor essential oil is a penetrating, cooling oil valued for its stimulating, respiratory, and pain-relieving properties. Rich in 1,8-cineole, it supports the respiratory system by helping to clear congestion, ease coughs, and promote open, easier breathing.

Therapeutically, it acts as a mild analgesic and anti-inflammatory, helping to relieve muscle aches, joint discomfort, and tension when applied topically in diluted form. Its cooling sensation provides quick relief to sore or overworked areas.

Camphor oil also exhibits antimicrobial and purifying properties, making it useful in cleansing and protective blends. Its invigorating aroma helps stimulate circulation and mental alertness, reducing fatigue and promoting a sense of revitalization.

Note: Use in low dilutions only; avoid use on sensitive skin and with young children. For children I recommend my Niaouli Organic Essential Oil
